Celebrating the 100th Day of School
We ALL need something to celebrate these days, so why not celebrate the 100th day of school? Put a unique twist on the celebrations by including each grade level represented at your school. 5th graders celebrating the 100th day of school will actually be celebrating their 1,000th day of school! That is certainly a cause for celebration.
If you’re in the education field, you’ll be familiar with common 100th day celebrations, such as stacking 100 cups, counting 100 pennies, and stringing 100 beads. Let’s add our older scholars into the mix. Can 4th graders read 720 pages this month? Can sixth graders identify 1,180 cumulative random acts of kindness? Perhaps the eighth grade can join forces to write 1,540 thank you notes to the school community. Whatever the grade, learning deserves to be celebrated!
